Blackberry Storm for Verizon

Blackberry Storm Touch Screen Smartphone

As we’ve heard, the Storm will pack CDMA / EV-DO Rev. A, quadband EDGE, and 2100MHz HSPA, making it one of the most global phones ever to hit the market. The list of “WOW factors” (Verizon’s verbiage) doesn’t stop there, though. Its also got a 3.25-inch 480 x 360 display dubbed “1/2 VGA+,” which puts it just a notch above the Bold’s 480 x 320 setup. The screen offers tactile feedback and auto-rotation to boot, plus you’ve got that 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera with flash, 1GB of onboard memory with microSD expansion — an 8GB card is included in the box — and “enhanced background noise cancellation.” Turning our attention to software, RIM calls the Storm’s web browsing experience “best in class.” Release TBA.

LG Rumor

LG Rumor Phone for Sprint

Sprint’s new LG Rumor phone looks a lot like an upgrade to the LG enV but with a more favorable screen and interface (nothing special though). The slide-out qwerty keys are easy to use but the phone cant keep up with a mediocre text speed. So i can see those teen texters getting frustrated. The pros of the phone are its solid build quality, colorful screen and GPS that was surprisingly good for such a small, inexpensive phone. The cons were the lack of some calling features like voice dialing, etc., slow keyboard typing speed, poor web browser, lack of 3g services and no advanced multimedia features. The good thing is it has a great speakerphone and good value, the Rumor is only $50 with a contract agreement.
