Samsung Upstage

If you’re looking for a music phone then look no further. The Samsung Upstage is a two-faced music-centric handset. The front face resembles a traditional phone and the flip-side is iPod-like packed with features like: full color screen, touch-sensitive scroll-wheel-inspired controls.
Samsung has corrected many common music phone missteps –transferring the Arcade Fire’s oeuvre from iTunes or Windows Media Player is idiot-proofed and almost instant; you can play MP3s even in Steve Jobs’s devilishly encrypted AAC+; and most importantly, access to most of the phone’s other features is easy, without interrupting or pausing mid-axman solo.
It’s a great MP3-cell hybrid that’s credit card thin. Unfortunately, I hear the battery life sucks, but hey, it looks great. Cost is around $149 with contract and $299 without.
