It looks like LG will continue naming their cell phones after food. After the popular LG Chocolate, which had enticing design and features, now they are launching the LG Waffle SV770. Unlike the popular Chocolate , this new Waffle doesn’t have that interesting and ground-breaking features. Instead, the LG Waffle SV770 is a basic slider phone with some basic features that is enough for people who aren’t really looking for something groundbreaking. One good thing though, is that its design somehow makes up the loss of features. Weighing about 95 grams and measuring 13.5mm thick, the new Waffle looks like a delectable waffle because of the quilted-like diamond pattern on the back.
Feature wise this will be just a 2G phone, and will include 2.4-inch TFT display with 320 x 240 pixels, 2-megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, and a microSD memory card slot that support up to 8GB.

Odd one to their simple basic devices with the all-new Alcatel OT-808. The phone sports very basic features, but comes with a design that would appeal a lot of fashionistas around. This phone is indeed believed to have that unique “netbook look and feel” but then the features are definitely vary far away from that. In a closed position the Alcatel OT-808 looks like diamond jewelry with its 1.1-inch external monochrome 128 x 36 OLED display and a very basic 2-megapixel camera on one corner.
On opening the phone it reveals a 2.4-inch QVGA internal display and a full QWERTY keyboard. Other features include social networking integration, email, IM, Opera Mini browser, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, and dual-band connectivity.

The Vertu Ayxta phone from Vertu’s Constellation series is now getting a complete makeover to go with the Valentine’s Day. This new Vertu Ayxta is done in pink and seems catered for women. Apart from the change in color there is nothing that has changed in this Vertu Ayxta as it is still made of stainless steel material, ceramic leather, sapphire crystal for its display, and aerospace grade aluminum parts. Just as other luxury phones the Ayxta too doenst come with ground breaking features with 3G connectivity, 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, and microSD card slot being standard.
If at all you can afford this Vertu Constellation Ayxta, then it would be a perfect gift for your other half.

There’s nothing too much exciting about the Samsung T139, but those who are looking for a budget device may find this appealing. As expected there are no groundbreaking features in this device with an ordinary design, a small external screen on the front, a larger colored internal screen, SMS and MMS support and also a VGA camera as standard features.
