With the Nokia N95 you’ll never need to call for directions again. The latest addition to Nokia’s N series comes bundled with GPS. The built-in Nokia Maps cover 150 countries and are annotated with handy points of interest (dulcet voice–guided navigation is a subscription-only extra). Wait, i’m not done, there’s more, the phone is a dual slider. Let’s break it down so you know what that means. If you push the display up, a standard numeric keypad is revealed; move it down, and you’ll see media keys and the screen will automatically switch to landscape. This keeps the camera and music controls away from the dialing ones. Now isn’t that nice.
Oh, you thought I was done? The N95 will play back any music format, and has a connector that doubles as a port for standard headphones as well as TV monitor playback. You can expect a 5 megapixel equipped with a Carl Zeiss lens and DVD-quality movie-making (new stabilization technology). All this style and luxury comes at a pretty hefty price, $749 without contract.
