Motorola Backflip

Motorola Backflip has been all over the news since last year, and now, finally Motorola released it at the CES 2010. The new Motorola Backflip phone is definitely one of their innovative design handsets. The phone features a reverse-flip QWERTY keyboard, which flips inwards. Other features include a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display which is also a trackpad and functions as a mouse so that you can scroll through the web, text, e-mails and news feeds, Wi-Fi, 3G, HSDPA 7.2 connectivity, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, video recording function, 3.5mm headset jack, and stereo Bluetooth. On the software side it runs Android OS with MotoBLUR.

There are more than one features that makes Motorola Backflip special and different from iPhone lookalikes including Google Nexus. Motorola in a statement explained the idea behind flip: “the truly original design allows BACKFLIP to create new ways to enjoy photos, music and more. In the reverse-flip, tabletop mode, listen to music or view videos hands free. The digital picture frame mode lets you show off your latest adventures. You can even turn BACKFLIP into a bedside alarm clock for your morning wake up call.”

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose. Have you tried the ipad? you can get one free at FreshGiftCard.com

There are several advantages to shopping online, the first one being the ability to shop at a time that is convenient to you, not just when the shops are open. The second advantage of shopping online is that goods are often cheaper as the seller does not have the costs of running a shop and having to pay wages to salespeople, insurance and all of the other running costs of a real world business.
