T-Mobile has announced the launch of their new MDA Basic entry level PDA Phone. It will be priced at around $ 220 and feature a 320×240 touchscreen display, a 2 Megapixel camera WiFi, EDGE, and Bluetooth. MDA Basic will be powered by a TI OMAP 850 201 MHz high performance processor, a 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM.

Its really hard to believe that it has been just a quarter-shy of three years since the T-Mobile released their HTC Dash mobile. Way back in the late 2006 we had praised about the Windows Mobile smartphone’s great build-quality and in-hand feel. Since then the rivals have brought out faster connectivity and much slicker OSes to the market. Now T-Mobile and HTC are back with a bang with the smartphone’s successor, the all-new Dash 3G.

Seth Porges over at Popular Mechanics wrote an interesting article discussing Google’s G1 and Apple’s iPhone. It discusses the pros and cons of each device.

T-Mobile UK First to Launch GPS with TeleNav

TeleNav GPS Navigator

T-Mobile announced today that they are the first operator in the UK to launch TeleNav GPS Navigator, the GPS satnav system for mobile phones. The service is going to be immediately available on a variety of BlackBerry smartphones on T-Mobile. The service will include GPS-enabled, turn-by-turn voice and on-screen driving directions, addresses and directions to businesses and community locations, and also cool full-color, 3D moving maps. T-Mobile shows off Two New Sidekicks

T-Mobile announced the Sidekick LX and the Sidekick Slide yesterday. Both have the standard Sidekick communication software along with the new mobile Myspace application.
