The Samsung Galaxy 3 (I5801) can be called the big brother of the Samsung Galaxy 5. This is the perfect phone for somebody looking for an affordable Android phone, but cannot compromise on its features. This Galaxy 3 will be priced at 12,300 INR, or about $265USD. Feature list is a bit more interesting than the ‘5′ and includes a 3.2 inch WQVGA multi-touch sensitive display, an integrated 3.2MP autofocus camera along with video recording, TouchWiz 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, a standard 3.5mm headset jack, DNSe, inbuilt accelerometer, a proximity sensor, expandable MicroSD card support, and also a 667MHz processor which runs on Android 2.1.

The Samsung Galaxy 5 or Samsung I5503 is one of company’s affordable Android phones and now, it is being launched in India. Feature wise the 5(I5503) will come packed with a standard 2.8 inch QVGA touch sensitive display, a 2MP camera, Samsung’s unique Touch Wiz UI 3.0, 3G connectivity , Wi-Fi, GPS, a 600MHz CPU , a standard 3.5mm audio output jack, and an expandable MicroSD card support. In India, the Samsung Galaxy 5 will cost about 10,200 INR which is about $220USD.

Samsung Galaxy U - another Android based phone from Samsung is now official. Well, if you are wondering what the ‘U’ in its name symbolizes, then Samsung relates it to the ‘U‘nique grip design, an ‘U‘ltimate display, its ‘U’tilitarian apps, and its ‘U‘biquitous features. Feature wise the Galaxy U will come packed with a 3.7-inch AMOLED Plus WVGA display with a resolution of (800×480), Android 2.1 OS, a high performance 1GHz CPU, T-DMB, the ‘U’ Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, internet tethering, an Allshare software and hardware, a 5MP camera capable of recording 720p HD video, GPS and an expandable microSD card. Well, the long list of features do cost more and the reultant price tag is about $682 USD.

Samsung S3370 is one of those phone which have been launched recently in different countries in very different names. In Italy its called the Samsung Pocket 3G, in Russia Samsung Corby 3G and in Belgium Samsung Acton with a free football. However, thankfully in UK it will come out in its original name - Samsung S3370. This entry level phone will feature a 2.8-inch touchscreen with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a 1.3 MP camera, Social networking applications like Facebook and Twitter, Bluetooth, stereo FM radio , a full HTML browser, and also a microSD card slot. Another feature if this S3370 is that 3’s subscribers can get a unlimited free Skype-to-Skype calls.
