Samsung M150 Bar Type Phone

Samsung has unveiled the attractive M150 bar style phone. Available in light gray, charcoal gray, pure white, lavender pink and ice blue, the handset comes equipped with a softly brushed hairline pattern, which is exclusively found on many of Samsung’s famous full-metal phones. Other features included mp3 player, an embedded VGA camera, MPEG4 video recording technology, FM radio with recording function and 20MB internal memory. The Samsung M150 Bar Type Phone will be released worldwide around mid-August.

Samsung Glyde cell phone Review For Verizon

The Glyde U940 is Samsung’s first touchscreen phone for Verizon and is in direct competition with the LG Voyager that was released almost 6 month earlier. It is based on the GSM Samsung F700, with similarities in style and form, yet the feature-set has changed. The Glyde is targeted to consumers that are looking for a touchscreen device, with a smaller footprint than the Voyager, while maintaining a mechanical QWERTY keyboard.

Samsung Anycall L258 announced in Hong Kong

Samsung is bringing the Anycall L258 model phone to Hong Kong and probably the rest of China. The Samsung L258 with its metallic-silver and black exterior gives a sense of sophistication and glamour which is important in the competitive mid-range market today.

The Anycall L258 is a tri-band GSM/GPRS phone with a 2.3″ QVGA touchscreen, 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, stereo bluetooth and a microSD memory slot. Pre-installed software includes, but not limited to, music player, web browser (Openwave), and handwriting recognition. The L258 measures 113×50x14.5 mm and weighs 97 grams. Once it hits the market you’ll be able to get the Samsung Anycall L258 for $2,180 HK (around $280 US).

Samsung F300 Beyonce B-Phone

Samsung has unleashed the B-Phone. What is it? It’s a special edition SGH-F300 loaded with Beyonce stuff. It has a Beyonce style start-up screen, exclusive Beyonce photo gallery and videos, and access to load other premium videos and music. The B-Phone should be available in limited quantities on November 4th. Smart people at Samsung because that’s right before Christmas!

Samsung water powered cell? Yup!

Hold your horses, water power for your cell phone isn’t here yet but closer than you think. Samsung has developed a cell phone that has a micro fuel cell and a hydrogen generator that will be capable of powering a mobile phone for up to 10 hours. I hear the first water-powered phones will not be available until 2010. If you ask me, It’s about time.

T-Mobile Blast

T-Mobile announces the Samsung Blast (aka SGH-t729) which they are marketing as a messaging-centric handset. It’s a slider with two letters per pivoting key and Tegic’s T9 predictive text. T-Mobile is targeting slightly younger, presumably message-happy and price-conscious consumers. The device is QWERTY-like in that the letters are laid out in horizontal QWERTY fashion, with two letters per key. The vertical 12-key numeric pad is highlighted by red lights for those needing help with QWERTY like keys.
