Though we have absolutely no idea about the new Palm Pre Plus, we can guess it will be slightly better than the original Palm Pre. Sometimes the phone will differ on the internal memory or it will feature a better camera. Whatever be it, for those ignorant of the Palm Pre; it has support for Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, 3.5mm headset jack, and a microSD card slot.

After two months of the official introduction, Sprint at last goes ahead and launches their new Palm Pixi, their second webOS-based smartphone.

The new Pixi is more than an entry-level version as it features a smaller, 2.63-inches, 262k color, 320×400 pixel resolution display, a 2.0 megapixel camera with integrated LED flash, 8GB of internal memory and a full functional QWERTY keyboard. Other features include 3.5mm headphone jack for that music on the go, Bluetooth 2.1, EV-DO Rev A and the slight glitch is that it does not come with Wi-Fi, but then the fact that Sprint is selling the Palm Pixi for $100 with a 2-year contract is alluring.

Palm Pre Smartphone on Sprint Network

The Palm Pre Smartphone, aka by me ‘pow chica pow wow’, was a show stopper at the CES convention in Las Vegas. The Pre, coming soon on the Sprint network, was a surprise crowd pleaser: 1st because Palm isn’t known for stealing the show, 2nd because Sprint isn’t known for stealing the show either.

Palm Pre uses the Palm Synergy feature to bring your Outlook, Google, and Facebook calendars together for one logical view of your day. And if you have the same contacts in different places, Pre can link them together, making it easy to find the information you need. Read more below…

Palm Centro Smartphone

Palm Centro Smartphone

The Palm Centro for Sprint is more of a consumer- oriented smartphone that packs all the features of a Treo into a smaller, lighter package.

From what I hear, this phone was not meant to be the Treo or to even replace it. This is for those who want either an entry level smart phone, or for those who want a nice smaller phone that works great. Phone runs $399 without a contract and $99 with a contract agreement. Amazon has it for $79 with a contract agreement purchased through them (after a $50 rebate). Comes in onyx and red.

Are you stuck in the world of Windows Mobile 5? Are you anxiously anticipating the day you can finally upgrade? Well the wait is over, at least initially for the customers of the “3″ network in Australia. Palm has officially released a free upgrade for the Treo 750, allowing owners to plunge into Windows Mobile 6 Professional.

Those users can get their hands on the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade around the middle of this month, while other Australian carriers will have to wait until early September. The “media alert” released by Palm makes no mention of this upgrade for international users.

The release firmware version, based on the pictures provided through the link below, is CE OS 5.2.1239 (Build 17746.0.2.4).
