The LG LU2300 is now rechristined as the LG Optimus Q and is announced in Saouth Korea recently. Unlike the Optimus in Transformers, this LG phone will be popular only in South Korea as it will not be available in rest of the world. Feature wise the Optimus is a high end mobile and will run on Android 2.1 OS. It will also come loaded with a WVGA AMOLED touchsensitive display, a full QWERTY sliding keyboard, a 5-megapixel camera, and also a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
Though the LG GD880 was launched in Europe last only month, this phone has got a special edition and it is christened the Mini Tiësto Edition. This special edition is in tie up with (obviously) Tijs Michiel Verwest, who is a very popular DJ. The new LG Surf 4GB, has been recently announced in Italy and it seems to be another addition to the popular LG Cookie family. This phone is also believed to be a rechristened Cookie Music KM750, and sports almost similar features which includes the 3-inch WQVGA touch sensitive display with S-Class user interface, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, a HSDPA connectivity, full HTML browser, Bluetooth 2.1, Dolby Mobile surround technology, 3.5mm universal headset jack, media player, and a 4GB internal memory. The phone will be avaialble in Italy by the end of April and will come in four color versions to choose from - silver, ash black, prism violet, and blue.
