Vertu’s highly popular Ascent luxury phone is getting itself a slick redesign for this year. This redesign is with angles that look like they came out of some Skunk Works. This new 2010 version phone comes in custom choice of aluminum (8GB storage) or titanium (32GB storage). Features include a sapphire crystal covered 2” color display, 5 megapixel camera with integrated flash, and GPS with preloaded maps.

Mobiado’s new Concept Phone, the CPT001 is actually a mixture of sophistication and luxury. Blending ultra modern communication technology with some materials which were popular during the renaissance period, this phone’s design certainly pushes the limits of what a luxury phone can be. On the outside the phone is a solid piece of marble with engraved letters in gold. The touch sensitive screen is made out of sapphire and buttons from solid gold. We dont know if this phone will ever be launched, but then if it is then it would be really heavy on your pocket - both to buy and carry.

The Vertu Ayxta phone from Vertu’s Constellation series is now getting a complete makeover to go with the Valentine’s Day. This new Vertu Ayxta is done in pink and seems catered for women. Apart from the change in color there is nothing that has changed in this Vertu Ayxta as it is still made of stainless steel material, ceramic leather, sapphire crystal for its display, and aerospace grade aluminum parts. Just as other luxury phones the Ayxta too doenst come with ground breaking features with 3G connectivity, 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, and microSD card slot being standard.

If at all you can afford this Vertu Constellation Ayxta, then it would be a perfect gift for your other half.

Porsche is popular for its cars but then the Porsche Design, is their luxury brand which focuses mainly on technically inspired products. Their latest gadget is the Porsche Design P’9522 and is now made available in jet black color. The color is made from combining matt, black anodized aluminum and black mineral glass materials; while the phone’s casing is pounded from a block of solid aluminum.

At the back of the phone there is a laser inscription that says “Porsche Design Black Edition.” Other features include a 2.8-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a microSD card slot. It also sports a sensor for fingerprint identification and security of personal information.

Some of them do have the opinion that most of the new-gen gadgets looks cool in black and now, we’re quite happy to see that Porsche Design is of the same opinion too as they have introduced their new P’9522 Black Edition. Apart from the color there is actually nothing new or fresh here, with the phone featuring the same spec list of the original P’9522 with fingerprint reader, OLED touchscreen, Wi-Fi and other standard ones.

TAG Heuer, the popular Switzerland-based luxury watch maker who are famous for their chronographs and sports watches, has announced the release of their new Limited Edition Luxury phone, dubbed TAG Heuer MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini. The new phone, just as the name suggests is made in collaboration with ‘The Lamborghini’.

The Lamborghini handset is “housed in stylish black titanium carbide coated 316L stainless steel” and sports a Lamborghini signature on its battery cover, which is same as the one on the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640’s V12 engine block.

Designed and Built by the ModeLabs, the phone also features a scratch-resistant ultra clear sapphire crystal display, a 2MP camera, 2GB internal memory and a powerpack that gives 7 hours talk time and 28 days standby time.

Bellperre has announced the launch of a new series luxury phones which are made out of “the very finest authentic materials”, including fine quality hand-crafted wood .

The new Bellperre luxury phones weigh just 120 grams and measure 100 x 44 x 15,3 mm, and the best part is that they can be customized with a choice of hand-polished Steel, Yellow Gold, Rosé Gold or Platinum. About 110 types of genuine exotic leathers can be added to the phone. Moreover, you can add “diamonds and gemstones or initials, logos or personal messages on special request.”

A quick look at the spec list and, the Bellperre phones offer tri-band GSM connectivity with 900/1800/1900, a 2 inch crisp Sapphire Crystal scratch-resistant display, stereo Bluetooth, email and as the OS a version of Windows Mobile.

Tag Heuer released details about their first mobile phone the Tag Heuer Meridiist which will be launching in September, reports I4U News. The Tag Heuer Meridiist will carry over the luxury materials Tag Heuer uses in its famous watches. The mobile phone will be hand assembled from 430 components and constructed from corrosion-resistant, watch making 316L steel. The displays are protected by scratch resistant 60.5 carats sapphire crystal.

Of course Tag Heuer found a way to feature a time display in a very cool way on the Meridiist. On the top of the handset a digital time display makes this phone unique. {Wristdreams}
