China is getting more and more smartphones nowadays and the latest of them all is the Samsung i899. This new smartphone from Samsung comes with CDMA/EV-DO connectivity, 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch AMOLED resistive touch sensitive display, a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and integrated flash, Wi-Fi/WAPI, GPS , DivX support, 3.5mm headset jack, 512MB of internal memory and expandable microSD card slot.

Some of them do have the opinion that most of the new-gen gadgets looks cool in black and now, we’re quite happy to see that Porsche Design is of the same opinion too as they have introduced their new P’9522 Black Edition. Apart from the color there is actually nothing new or fresh here, with the phone featuring the same spec list of the original P’9522 with fingerprint reader, OLED touchscreen, Wi-Fi and other standard ones.

Pantech continues to produce mobiles with sleek and stylish design, and the latest of them is the Pantech Sky Sportive IM-U540L. Now, this phone may not have groundbreaking features, but then its perfect for those who are in search for a stylish and sporty design.

Feature wise it will have 3-inch touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel camera, integrated DMB TV tuner, GPS navigation support, Bluetooth connectivity, and 62MB of internal memory with expandable microSD card slot. This new Pantech Sky Sportive is said to be available in four color combinations - White/Red, White/Silver, White/Blue and Black/Pink.

It looks like the Indian market will get an opportunity to taste Samsung’s Corby line up and also the Samsung Duos 259. This new Samsung is a dual SIM mobile, which works great on both GSM and CDMA networks.

Apart from the above facts, this new Samsung is very far from the Corby series with is sophisticated looking candybar form factor. Other features include the 2.2-inch TFT color display, 1.3-megapixel camera with integrated video recording, stereo FM radio, Bluetooth, pre-loaded java games, polyphonic ringtones, and also an expandable microSD card slot.

There hasn’t been a phone which has received this much hype since the iPhone. Finally Google is putting the rumors to rest today with its new Nexus One Phone. Unlike other Android smartphones, the new Nexus One is completely a Google design from the ground up and sports a new UI design, a 3.7” touch screen, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, 5MP camera, and 4GBs of storage and an expandable MicroSD card slot. The phone will be made available and unlocked for $530 or through the T-Mobile’s outlets initially for $180.

Motorola Backflip has been all over the news since last year, and now, finally Motorola released it at the CES 2010. The new Motorola Backflip phone is definitely one of their innovative design handsets. The phone features a reverse-flip QWERTY keyboard, which flips inwards. Other features include a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display which is also a trackpad and functions as a mouse so that you can scroll through the web, text, e-mails and news feeds, Wi-Fi, 3G, HSDPA 7.2 connectivity, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, video recording function, 3.5mm headset jack, and stereo Bluetooth. On the software side it runs Android OS with MotoBLUR.

For the new decade LG has launched its GW990 which is a MID-like (Mobile Internet Device) device and among the company’s first ones to be powered by Intel’s Moorestown platform. The phone is actually a high end device and may not fit everyone’s pockets. Feature list include a 4.8-inch panoramic high resolution widescreen display with 1024 x 480 pixels, 5-megapixel camera, HD quality video recording, multi-window UI, Wi-Fi connectivity, A-GPS, HSPA, digital compass, and 3D gaming.
