The new Samsung Corby Pop is believed to be the cheaper version of the Corby S3650, which has been officially launched in India, early this month. This affordable Corby Pop will feature a 2.8-inch 320 x 240 pixels touchscreen display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, music playback, multi instant messaging, and 22MB of internal memory. The price tag of the affordable version of the S3650 is said to be about 7000INR or $150.

HTC HD2 for T-Mobile Leaked

HTC’s new HD2 has already shipped into Asia and Europe back in November. The latest update is that it will soon arrive to T-Mobile early next year and will be the T-Mobile’s first smartphone to flaunt 1GHz Snapdragon CPU.

This new phone has actually appeared in a leaked YouTube video which shows a new ROM version 2.01 and also a completely new feature of the Sense UI, which is the document tabs. In the video there’s no logo of T-Mobile, but then the “Stick Together” graphic at the beginning of the video confirms that this will reach T-Mobile USA. The smartphone will be running on Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, and will include a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display, 5-megapixel autofocus camera, 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, and Wi-Fi.

Sony Ericsson’s Elm is now officially a part of the Greenheart line, which popularly is the company’s “project to make handsets from recycled plastics and free from hazardous chemicals to help reduce CO2 emissions.” On the green side the Elm will have E-manuals, and EP300 Greenheart wall charger, a WalkMate application that allows its users to “compare the steps they take with the equivalent journey by car”, and also a Green calculator, which calculates how much CO2 they save through walking.

As a phone the Elm is a candybar device and has a 2.2-inch QVGA display, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Google Maps, social networking integration for Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, push e-mail, and 280MB of internal memory with microSD card support.
