According to Infosync, who got their hands on a non-working prototype of the Nuvifone, the phone is very thin, nice and sleek. It Garmin features a stylish UI, based on press photos of course. The company says that they still have some ways to go, but they’re confident in a late 2008 launch. No carrier or retail plans have been finalized. According to the website we can expect a GPS experience that exceeds what we currently see on mobile phones. To be released August 2008.

The Sony Ericsson T303 is a sleek looking stylish slider with metallic and reflective finish. It features a built-in 1.3 megapixel digital with 4x digital zoom, allowing you to snap pictures on the go. The phone features a nice multimedia section with built-in digital music player and RDS FM radio.

On the other hand, the phone has some downfalls. First is its low-end LCD screen that only supports up to 128×160 pixels and second the phone has only 8MB of internal memory and no card slot. So don’t expect to take that many pictures with each picture using up 400-500KB.

Boost Unlimited Introduces 8 New Phones This Year

My sources at Boost Mobile tell me that the company plans to release 8 new phones in 2008 on the Boost Unlimited system. I hear the next to join the current trio is the LG Rumor. The company is finally branching out from the usual Motorola handset releasing phones from LG, Sanyo and other brands to give customers a decent option. With Metro PCS’ line-up of phones constantly changing and growing it’s nice to see that Boost is finally accepting the fact the prepaid unlimited is here to stay.
